The Formation of the South Valley Chapter
The South Valley chapter was founded in October 2003 by Shawna H. and Rebecca B.

Both Shawna & Rebecca joined Mothers & More as new stay-at-home-moms and found it to be a life saver!  They had been members of the Sandy, Utah Chapter (now known as the Wasatch Front Chapter) for over 4 years when they realized there was a need for a second chapter.

The South and Southwest areas of the Salt Lake valley were growing rapidly and Shawna & Rebecca knew there were mothers in the South Valley area who would benefit from Mothers & More.  They also knew chapter participation is much easier if the location is close to home.  A new chapter was formed to provide support, friendships and a convenient location for the women of the South Valley.

In October 2004, we decided being a part of the national Mothers & More organization no longer met our needs.  The South Valley Mothers & More chapter was formally dissolved and we became a new organization called Mothers Helping Mothers.   During November and December we received some feedback on the new name and came to the conclusion "Mothers Helping Mothers" didn't really convey our new mission and didn't accuratley reflect the make-up of our group.  In January, 2005, we officially changed our name to MOM'S TIME OUT.
