South Valley Mothers & More is now...
MOM'S TIME OUT
The South Valley chapter of Mothers & More was formed in October 2003.
After a year of involvement with the internal politics of Mothers & More, we decided we no longer wanted to be
a part of that organization. Our group severed its ties to Mothers & More
in October 2004 and created a new local non-profit organization to better reflect our independence, mission and goals. The new group was initially called Mothers Helping Mothers and in January 2005
the name changed to MOM’S TIME OUT.

Mothers & More
is a non-profit organization that cares for the caregiver. Mothers & More provides a nationwide network of local
chapters for mothers who are - by choice or circumstance - altering their participation in the paid workplace over the course
of their active parenting years. Local chapters are structured to support a mother as she navigates the challenges of
her daily life - whether she is a full-time family caregiver or struggling to achieve a better balance between the demands
of paid work and family care.
Through local chapters and other services, Mothers & More provides
opportunities for mothers to connect with one another in ways that assist them in developing their unique identities as women
and help them move more confidently through the transitions that affect their family, work and life.
The South Valley chapter is very diverse and open

We have no affiliation
with any
religious organization or
church.
We generally meet on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month at either the South Jordan Library or the Riverton Library.

OUR AREA
All Utah mothers are welcome to join. However,
the areas we specifically target are Draper, Riverton, South Jordan, Bluffdale, Herriman and the southern part of West Jordan.
Mothers in the northern part of Utah county might also find our chapter convenient.
